Problem description: My system is Win7 64bit, Intel Desktop Board DG 965RY Installed Memory 4GB Hauppage HVR-900 Model No. M/R: 65008/A1C0 Hybird TV Stick, 6-channel (5.1) onboard subsystem, featuring: IntelĀ® High Definition Audio interface on the motherboard. I use WinTV V6 application to watch tv, and both picture and sound works.
I also tried WinTV V7. Both version work fine. When trying out the built-in Windows Media Center to watch tv, the sound won't work. TV Picture, and all other function work, including media center menu sounds.
(Media center recorder work without sound) I've tried muting and unmuting the sound mixer (also when media center is running), searched for channels a number of times, and tried altering the TV/ Audio options in media center, but not being able to get it working. I've also downloaded and installed the media center pluign for my tuner at, without really understanding what difference it made Windows Media Center isn't listening in on the correct hardware. Format & reinstall windows 2 days ago (Hauppage customer services said, y ou will have to contact Microsoft if you cannot find help on thegreenbutton) Please help. Windows 7 Compatible Hardware, Device Drivers Hauppauge WinTV HVR-900 TV Tuner Card The device manufacturer or software publisher stated this product is compatible with Windows 7 now or will be compatible by a future date.
