Propellerhead has unveiled Reason Electric Bass, the latest in its range of ‘Hypersampled´ ReFills for the hugely popular Reason software studio. As with many of The Prop´s other ReFills, this one comprises a range of patches for Reason´s Combinator device. These are built around samples from eight classic electric bass guitars: Fender Jazz Bass, Fender Precision Bass (flatwound), Gibson Les Paul, Rickenbacker 4001, Gibson EB-0, Kay Hollowbody, MusicMan Stingray Fretless and Fender Precision Bass (roundwound). The patches also contain a number of performance embellishments that you can throw in to make your bass parts sound even more realistic. These include release samples, hammer-ons and glissandos. Hi, I hope someone can help as I am new to Reason and computer software. I have Reason 8 and have just purchased Reason Electric Bass. It downloaded as a zipped file which I opened and extracted all, this is now in my download box, how do I get it to appear in Reason and then begin to use it?
All the other rack extensions loaded straight to Reason!!! Hi Andy, REB is not a rack extension it's a refill.so move it from your dload folder to wherever you keep your other refills such as your song or working files folder. I keep a separate folder for my refills. You can then browse to the location from within reason and click away on the different elec.
